Hair. Oh my god hair. Who'd have guessed making hair look realistic was going to be so difficult!!!! The face is nearly finished now and is looking pretty mean n funky but right now he looks like someone has place a very bad wig on his head. arggghhh

Good work Jez! I love your amazing drawings! his taking shape. When you've got his head and face everything should fall into place, well the ideas will be flowing in anyways. (I know it's easier than it's sound!) I think dark colours would suit him better with a little bit of dustiness to show it's age..? Stephanie :)

Haha, thank you. He's still only in flat colours at the moment. The real shading is yet to be done, i'm still only concentrating on shape and form. But you are very right. The colours need to be darker more gritty. And they will. I want him to have a sense of being battle worn and that will follow when i'm happy with his face.
